Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, and the Summertime Blues
I’d love to be able to take a swim at the beach, sit under a tree reading a novel, or chill out with some cold chocolate ice cream, but I’ve been pulled back into the reality of the world by Michael Jackson’s father, Joe, appearing on Larry King Live to deny he ever beat his son. That, on top of watching Chris Brown’s 2-minute video apology for beating Rihanna, have given me a worse headache than biting into an ice cream cone. You can read about the abuse issues that have clouded the clear skies of my summer enjoyment in Psychology Today.

Chris Brown makes the best hip-hop and r&b music today. i have a full collection of all the albums of Chris Brown in my home. It is too bad that his relationship with Rihanna did not work out well.

I’ve been listen to your shows and find it more intresting than I tought Im even considering taking the course my reply do you think his addiction to drugs was his way of dealing with the abuse not just from his dad but from the world?
I think he did more to the world than the appreciation we gave him God bless his soul

If you love R&B music then you gotta love Chris Brown also. He’s been my music idol for the past few years. ;

Thank you for reading and for writing a comment. Yes, I agree that he was pressured by the world quite a bit and without a firm foundation of trust and self-worth in place, he really wasn’t equipped to deal. That is the lesson he left for us to learn and yes, he did do quite a bit for the world.
Warmly,
Deborah
